Here is a great plan for a most unusual crossbow.We are all familiar with the ordinary crossbow which must be reloaded after every shot.This crossbow however has a magazine which holds fice (or more) arrows or bolts as they are called and can discharge them quickly one after another by working the slide action handle.

The Chinese invented a repeating crossbow hundreds of years ago.they used them very effectively in war.They had magazines which could hold ten or fifteen arrows and discharge them in a few seconds.Needless to say this was very discouraging to the enemy when met by a hail of hundreds of arrows.We have a plan for this old crossbow see our other auctions.

This crossbow is a modern adaptation of this old idea and works somewhat differently.However it also can discharge all the bolts in the magazine in a few seconds just by working the slide handle.

Construction is quite simple and can be accomplished with hand tools although an electric drill and power saw will speed things up.You can make it as fancy or as plain as you like by using nice walnut for the stock or just some plain old wood for utility purposes rather than looks.
