Required materials are usually digital files (at least 8x10 inch @360dpi, tiff or jpeg at max quality), gray scale or colour, possibly not previously sharpened. The file can be supplied through email (up to 10Mb). If larger please make the file available for download from a web site or host. Alternatively you can post a CD. If your media is not digital I also accept photographs or negatives (scanning and retouching is included in the price). Postal address available upon request.

Pt-pd prints compared to traditional mediums show a larger tonal scale, softer tones, tactile quality, and more luminosity. Being printed on watercolour paper, which is of course matte, there will be less contrast compared to a traditional photo made on glossy paper. Platinum prints are valuable not only for their intrinsic beauty but also for the extremely long permanency, many centuries, so please consider this if you have important images that you want to preserve. It is normal for platinum prints to go through generations in families. You will receive a beautiful, gallery-quality, piece of art to be treasured for the rest of your life.

Editioning costs less (since the digital negative needs to be made only once for the first print). Please inquire if more that one print from the same image are desired.
