Black & white photo postcard reprint of the Plumb Hotel that was located in Streator, La Salle County CO, Illinois IL. 

It is a piece of history of the town -- a building that once was a magnificent structure and is no more.  We think it is a great memorabilia item.

As shown in the picture, the 1st floor (left) housed a drug store.  Awning to the right of that says:  "Sasser ______".  Can't quite make it out with my magnifying glass.  Perhaps you know.  There are a myriad of "ghost stories" associated with this old building -- many of them are out there on the 'net.

Info on the back:  "PLUMB HOTEL - Located at the northwest corner of Main and Bloomington Streets in Streator, Illinois, the Plumb Hotel was the oldest and best known of Streator's hotels.  It was built in 1882 and demolished in 1987 after several fires."

Date:  Unknown - but certainly in the horse & buggy days.

Size:  Approximately 4" x 6".

Shipping:  We take precautions to ensure your item is packed well and shipped quickly by the US Postal Service -- usually within two days of receipt of payment.  For the moment, we ship only to the Continental USA.

Insurance:  Insurance is optional at $1.65.  Once package leaves our hands, we cannot be responsible unless you add the optional insurance.

Reshipping:  Double check to make sure you have your correct shipping address.  If package is returned due to improper address or other reason, the buyer is responsible for reshipping.

Feedback:  We like leaving positive feedback for our buyers and hope they will do the same for us so we know item has reached them satisfactorily.
