About the card:
This is an
original painting of a polar bear holding a bright yellow balloon, by artist Megan Stringfellow. It is painted with watercolors on cardstock.
The card is sealed with a matte finish to protect it. It is initialed on the front, and signed and dated on the back. Image may be displayed at larger size than the original card.
I am having a BIG sale on a lot of
originals art over the next week, as I try to raise money to attended the annual
conference for the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) in
LA. Bid early and often and help send this starving artist to the conference!

About the artist:
I have been drawing and painting since I was very little. My parents always encouraged me to pursue my art, and have always been my biggest fans. I started with canyons and markers, graduated to drawing with pencil and colored pencil before discovering the joys of digital art in 2001. I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop 7, and fell madly in love.
Shortly afterward, I bought my first tablet, a $20.00 discontinued version from some unknown company off eBay. I eventually upgraded to a Intuos tablet, and thought I had died and gone to heaven.
My dream is to bring as much beauty to the world at I can through my art. If even one person is able to enjoy my art, I am happy.
