ViewStation H.323

This Polycom ViewStation MP supports the IP standard known as H.323 and can support 512k ISDN and Multipoint applications with the addition of the Polycom Quad BRI module and a Quad Terminal Adapter. It is expandable, with external components and software, to support ISDN BRI speeds to 512K, Digital PBX connectivity, T-1 connections, FT-1 connections and Multi-point ISDN conferences. With just one ISDN BRI line the Viewstation MP produces 15fps video. Add a couple more BRI and it supports 30fps. The ViewStation MP also performs well over IP on the H.323 standard where it efficiently utilizes speeds up to 768k; producing 30fps results.

With just one ISDN BRI line the Viewstation H.323 produces 15fps video. With 3-4 ISDN lines the ViewStation gets up to 30fps. The ViewStation H.323 performs especially well over IP on the H.323 standard where it efficiently utilizes speeds up to 768k; producing 30fps results at any speed greater than 384k.
