Polymer pendant with glass beads and Swarovski crystals

Pendant and beads are made in a technique called stain glass. First black polymer clay is molded into shapes. Another sheet of black polymer clay with embedded silver foil is added to the top and molded together then baked. Once cooled items are painted with beautiful bright alcohol inks. It really does create a beautiful stain glass finish especially when topped with a gloss acrylic finish as these are. Pictures don't do these designs justice.

Pendant is 1-1/2" w x 1-1/2" h heart in pink, blue, yellow and green inks and included with 4 Blue AB (6mm) Swarovski crystals, 4 handmade beads (2-6mm and 2-4mm) in the same style as pendant and glass seed beads. Also included to make earrings, 2 more polymer beads (4mm), 2 Blue AB Swarovski crystals (6mm) and seed beads.

I love polymer clay because it is so light. No matter how large the pendant (and this one is larger) it will not weigh heavy on your neck (or your ears).
