Pongo's Palm is a Sweet Piece of an Orangutan designed by Master Carver Peter Calvesbert from the Treasure Jest Collection. This box figurine features an Orangutan seeking shelter from a large green tropical leaf over his head. On the underside of the leaf are the words "Sumatra" and "Borneo" with are the only two Indonesian Islands that Orangutans can be found in the wild. Pongo's Palm Style #TJOR2 measures at about 2.25"x2"x3" in size. This piece is Brand New and Boxed.
 
When you remove the Orangutan's Head inside is carved an Orangutan Face staring back up.
Harmony Kingdom pieces are designed & made in England. Each box contains hidden meanings with in the carvings and the wildlife pieces carved by Peter Calvesbert have a mouse hidden somewhere on it. Every piece is hand-tinted, lending each cachepot its distinctive character. All the pieces are handcrafted with resign and crushed marble.
