Porcelain Toothpick Cigarette Holder Gold Daisy Roses

Hi,  I am a Chester County, PA folk artist and a second generation antique dealer. Since I am now painting full time, the antiques have taken a back seat. While I no longer have an antique shop, I still have a passion for old things! Often when I am out looking for interesting things to paint on, I find other great vintage treasures that I bring home to share with you. 

Back when we had the antique shop, we had an item like this that we kept on the counter full of business cards -- it was the most requested item in the shop... everybody wanted to buy it... we had a whole page in our wish book devoted to Oblong Toothpick Holder! Needless to say, they don't show up that often, so today is a lucky day!

Here is a pretty porcelain toothpick or cigarette holder in an oval shape (perfect for holding calling cards and business cards too!) It is unmarked and I haven't found a perfect match to the pattern yet. There were a number of companies that did this type of decoration...Pickard, Stouffer and Wheeling all made Rose & Daisy patterns too.

no chips or cracks!
