Up for auction is this portable radiation monitor with analog meter.  This radiation monitor is new, and features a translucent yellow case that allows one to see through into the inner workings of the machine.  The design features an analog meter (as opposed to a digital display).  The analog display is preferred by many people over the digital display for it's visual, interpretive, and aesthetic advantages.  Analog is just cool!  The monitor is used by simply pressing and holding the button.  That is it!  The LED just above the push button indicates that the unit is on and also indicates battery condition.  Audible clicks are heard when the unit is operated (the frequency of which increase as radiation levels increase), as well as an alarm which is triggered when radiation levels exceed 10mR/hr.  This design has been around for 20 years, and is tried and true!  Manufacturer Name: RDX Nuclear/ Industrial Test Systems, Inc, USA.
