 Wheelock German Cobalt Porcelain
Portland Hotel -  Portland, Oregon c. 1890's

This is a beautiful cobalt porcelain piece made by Wheelock  in Dresden Germany.  It features a picture of the old Portland Hotel in the city of Portland, Oregon. The hotel was opened in 1890, and razed to make a parking lot in 1951.  This is a fine example of the  Wheelock porcelain pieces which were sold as souvenirs in the 1890's to the early 1900's. 
It measures approx. 3 inches tall x 4 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches deep.    It is in excellent condition.
This piece is from the personal collection of Doug Humphrey of Big Bear, CA, who has been collecting Wheelock and other cobalt blue porcelain pieces for over half a century, since he was a young boy.  Please check out the other pieces that are on ebay.
