"Somewhere Between Heaven & Hell..." Is a Rac Original for You! "Portrait of a Crazy Horse Dancer" This is a pastel pencil drawing on acid free white slightly textured paper by me, the Rac. Piece measures 11" x 14". Dated 3/19/07. In shades of pink, lavender, violet, red, green, white, brown, & black. Piece is slightly larger than the scanned picture, but most is shown. This piece belongs to my Self Portrait Series. I was a dancer at the Crazy Horse in North Miami Beach, and I did have to wear a patch at one time for cutting my eye with my contact lens. This was drawn sometime after the incident and was colored on the 19th of this year. This is how I felt the first night having to wear the patch. Keep in mind that all art works look even better framed. Framing can make even a not so hot piece look fantastic if framed correctly! Having them professionally framed is best. If you have a Perils Art Supplies in your city, they have a good and fairly inexpensive framing department. If in doubt how to frame, remember almost any art looks great framed in black, which in my opinion really makes the colors stand out. If you want your art work to retain its value, do not have the pieces dry mounted when framed (you may have to specify this). Wrinkles and waves are better than dry mounting art, value wise. Only use acid free material for all matting used to mount the art (you will have to specify this). It's more expensive, but won't hurt the art. Acid free matting is limited in colors, so, only the matt touching the art needs to be acid free. The above paragraph is only my personal opinion, having been in the framing business for several years. Will combine shipping for most art. Check out my Store for other neat art works!
