100% of the purchase price of this item goes to establishing the Dean Barber Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is sponsored by Education Works, Inc., a 501c3 non profit.  We are an all volunteer non profit and the operating costs of the fundraiser are funded separately.  While the non profit is new to Ebay, the organization is trustworthy and will honor our commitments in any sale.  Miles Lewis is a graduate of Myers Park High School in Charlotte, N.C., and generously donated this Portrait of Dean Barber, an original, for the auction to sponsor the Dean Barber Memorial Scholarship Fund. (www.barberfundraiser.org.)  It hand drawn and then digitally colored in PhotoShop.  Miles Lewis graduated from the School of Design in Raleigh North Carolina receiving a BA in Visual Design.
As a museum staff designer and illustrator, Miles created visual art and collateral information for permanent collections and special exhibits.  His highly stylized portrait work has resulted in numerous commissions, gallery showings and an Addy Award. In addition to his editorial work for magazines and sports apparel, Miles currently illustrates for national advertising campaigns.
