This auction is for a good condition vintage Post Model 1460 Versalog Hemmi Bamboo Slide Rule with black leather case. It is a precision constructed slide rule made in Japan of bamboo. The slide works great. LB is marked on the side and from what I have founf on the net, it may mean it is a 1951 model. There is some yellowing of the scales from age but no cracks or damage and all numbers and marks are very readable. The slide is in good condition but has mild corrosion, the frame is missing one screw, and the glass is a little dirty. I'll leave it up to you to dissassemble and clean if needed. The black leather caseis a little stiff and a few inches of the stitching on one side at the top has come loose but can easily be restitched.  This slide rule has 23 scales. Numbers under the Post logo are 203 452. A great slide rule for use or collection. Happy Bidding!
