A rare find; both parts of a US Marine corps button die with oxidation from age but in very good condition; pieces fit together perfectly for the making of buttons. I believe it is from the Waterbury Button Co., as I had a Waterbury button that fit this die perfectly. The bottom block measures 2 1/2" x 2 3/8" and is 1 3/4" tall, and it was used to make buttons about 1 5/8" diameter. On the top is engraved "HUB" and on the front side is, "F 210 PDS". It is rare to have both pieces!
