Up for bid is this Unique Pottery Jug. It is made of an un-glazed, semi rough feeling clay which has a medium brown background on which is painted-- a man and a woman dancing-- what looks like a straw hut-- two musicians with instruments-- and a tree. It measures approx. 8 ½ in. tall and approx. 24½ in. going around the middle of the jug. It has an approx. 2 in. neck with a 2 ¾ in. lip with a 1 ¾ in. opening. It is Un-Marked, although it does have a lot of lines etc. possibly an identification on the bottom of the pot, but I cannot make anything of it. It is quite interesting. If someone is familiar with this, I would truly appreciate knowing its origin or maker. It is quite heavy, so the buyer will pay shipping on 5 ½ lbs. to their zip code. Insur.
