This is a brand new set of 5 custom made pottery wheel throwing bats.  They are made of high strength plastic and are drilled to fit a standard pottery wheel with 10" centers.  These bats are great for throwing and take up a lot less space than traditional round bats.  The bats are 8 3/8" square and measure 12" across the diagonal. Both sides are smooth, and the clay sticks to them great.  If you let your pots dry on them, they leave a nice, smooth bottom.

I am a pottery teacher, and space is always at a premium.  I started using square bats because they take up so much less room on the shelf.  We use them every day in class, and my students love them. 

If you would like more than 5, I will combine shipping for as many as will fit in a flat rate priority box.  A medium flat rate box will hold about 25.  US bidders only.
