It can be worn in several different positions depending on the age of your baby: cradle & front positions for newborn & infants (with padding on the outside); front, hip & back positions for infants (with head control) and toddlers (padding on the inside under baby's knees).

~~~ THE 'BELLS & WHISTLES' ~~~
You are bidding on a brand new sling, sewn by me, a wahm, in your custom size (measurement from the outside of your shoulder to opposite hip bone).
To find your size measure from the top outside 'tip' of your shoulder (usually where the top seam of a well fitted shirt meets the sleeve) diagonal to opposite hip bone (where it protrudes on the side, not in the front). To get a correct measurement it is essential to use a soft tape (or a string) and measure not too loosely across your chest (your bra size will make a difference in the size you need). The string/tape should make a soft arch (not sag) and go about 1/3 across one breast. If you are currently pregnant, you can have someone measure you the same way, but from the back.
The sling's seam is tripple-stitched to ensure safety.
BONUS: This sling is padded (no extra charge) on one edge to make it more comfortable for your toddler by preventing the fabric from digging into your little one's legs. The padding is also nice to support baby's head/neck in the infant position.

For safety reasons, do not attempt to carry an uncooperative and/or wiggly child.
Never carry your child in a sling while doing dangerous activities.
Always support your child with your hands/arms while putting and taking them out of the sling and when leaning over.
