	Features of SP-170 The ultimate in oval design to reduce water resistance. The oval design, a feature unique to TUSA snorkels, has now been further improved in the pipe. It provides direction to water blown upward to insure a clear snorkel while minimizing water resistance. The pipe interior, with its bellows section, has a new flush surface to further smooth the airflow. New two-sectional swivel adapter enhances comfort and performance. Photo 1 Photo 2 Photo 3 Photo 4 The SP-130 features a newly developed snorkel adapter that integrates a swivel mechanism to the pipe clip and strap attachment (Photos 1 & 2). The new adapter includes the following two features: 1. This mechanism allows the snorkel to swivel to the optimum angle to reduce tension and stress for enhanced comfort and performance (Photo 2) as compared to earlier models (Photo 3). 2. Adjustments are made by sliding the adapter's position forward or backward, and either a forward or rearward position may be selected (Photo 4). For example, if the adapter is too close to your mouth, the corrugated tube may become excessively bent reducing airflow. By sliding the new adapter backward (Photo 2), stress on the corrugated tube is eliminated and the bite on the mouthpiece becomes more natural. This also places the top of the pipe which extends above the surface of the water in an optimal position. In addition, the snorkel can be easily detached from the mask by sliding the pipe clip forward and off the strap attachment. New purge channel Since the purge valve is at an angle to the body, even if water remains in the chamber after clearing the snorkel it will not affect the flow of air in the pipe (away from the mouth). Therefore, there is no gurgling of water caused by breathing, and water does not return to the mouth. In addition, air bubbles that come from the valve pass by the side of the face without obstructing the field of view. New mouthpiece The new ergonomically engineered mouthpiece further enhances the comfort of bite, fit and stability. Even with a light bite a high level of stability is achieved, so there is no fatigue from long periods of usage. Features of M-16 3D Strap for Nonskid Backing The back of a person’s head is curved and definitely not flat. However, conventional mask straps were flat and therefore, prevented the best fit possible. This problem has been revised with the M-16 that employs a newly developed 3D strap (patent pending) that snugly fits against the occipital curvature with nonskid backing and superior old unprecedented fit and comfort. Round-Edge Facial Skirts For Great Fit and Comfort Without Facial Creasing Left After Removing the Mask Both men and women divers are conscious about the creasing left on the face after removing a diving mask. However, this is no longer a problem with the M-16 that features a round mold (patent pending) special cross-sectionally shaped skirt fitting. The resulting soft fit suppresses pressure on delicate skin and reduces creasing left on the face. This “planar fit, instead of linear fit” silicone skirt maintains great fit and unprecedented comfort that is apparent the instant it is worn. Wide Field-of-View This mask features a wide field-of-view flat mask design without frames between the eyes to capture the entire picture at all times. It is also compact in size since the lens and eyes have been designed closer together, while maintaining incredibly wide field-of-view.
