POWERFUL: During the design, the generator was targeted to 2500 Watts but integrating it as 2000 Watt system actually provides a more powerful system for most USA wind zones. Plus our special designed control system, our system still produce power at high wind but other vendor’s does not. See the power curve in the system performance section to compare.
RELIABLE: The system is engineered for reliabilities and three speed control mechanisms are used in the system design, Electromagnetic brake, tail furling and manual shutdown. These three methods work together to provide the best performance and safe operation. Most of the system on the market only provide one or two ways to control the speed even they looks like our products.
DURABLE:The system features casted aluminum body and steel tail, heavy duty fiber glass blades which supplies you electricity for years to come. Compare with other systems on the market, which is small and poorly engineered and will not survive the high wind. That’s why we offer you up to 5 year warranty but other vendor can only commit to one year.
LOW NOMINAL WIND SPEED: The 20 mph is the best rated wind speed available so far for this size system. Some systems offered by other vendors have rated wind speed of 22 mph or 28 mph which are so unrealistic, since less than 10% of people in the world have average wind speed over 20 mph. So those systems are most likely not appropriate for your area.
LOW START UP WIND SPEED: A special mechanism is used to make the rotor starts easily. The actual start up wind speed is 4.5 mph wind speed.
