This is the time of year for alot of Pioneer - Little House on the Prairie activities and this cute little dress with it's apron and prairie bonnet will be perfect for your daughter's event.  Other ideas are just using it for fun dress up, or maybe have a "Little House" party.

The pattern I used for this dress was 10/12.  The dress is free flowing and ties at the waist with the apron and the length is 42 inches.  I always suggest double checking your childs measurements just to be sure.  Also on the sleeves I leave extra elastic and tie it, this way you can adjust it to fit correctly.
