Up for auction is a Museum Quality large Olmec mask. The material is a highly polished brownstone. The top of the mask and both ears are perforated for suspension. Reverse is deeply concave. Ample mineral deposits, defoliation, and patina are present. This Olmec mask is visibly authentic and absolutely guaranteed as such. It measures 5 1/4" in height and has a monumental presence.
