Pre Stamp Cover Letter Manchester UK-Southbury CT 1844







I have a box of letters, envelopes and stamps mostly from the 1800s. I will try to describe them as well as possible. I am not a stamp collector, but will try to research the stamps for ID only. Condition and the actual Scott # are left to be determined by you. I may use Scott #'s for ID purposes, but I don't guarentee that they are right. I have included large photos Hi Res Photos.

This one is from the Manchester England Postmarked 1844 and sent to Southbury CT. Has a long letter from E Gidney to his daughter, Francis Stiles.
