Fourth Edition. Text in French. Includes beautiful b&w, as well as color, illustrations throughout.

Tome I [Volume 1]: 6 + [4] + iii + [1] + 942 + [1] pages; Tome II [Volume 2]: 1232 pages.

Both volumes bound in chestnut brown cloth stamped with black lettering. Hinges cracked. The textblocks are square, and the pages--though tanned--are clean. Tome II's front endpage and half title page are detached, but present; Tome II title page and page 1/2 are pulling away and barely holding. Starting at foot of Tome II, half inch tear at front joint crease. Moderate wear to spine ends; mild wear to corners. Ink stain to fore edge of Tome I. Mild edgewear. Ex-library.
