Precise High Frequency Fan-Cooled Spindles are used for moderate production runs that demand close speed control. High frequency motors and solid state converters assure minimal maintenance and negligible speed drop between idle and full load. Each spindle includes a replaceable air filter cartridge to help keep the spindle bearings free of chips and abrasive dust.
All precise high frequency motor spindles feature thermistor protection. The thermistor senses overheating conditions and shuts the system down.
Because they do not have brushes and commutator, high frequency induction motors eliminate the most common causes of wear-out found in universal motor designs. Less frequent and less costly maintenance makes the Precise high frequency motor spindle less expensive to operate.

We purchased this super nice Precise high speed spindle to run an ongoing job in our shop. Unfortunately, we determined we need a bit more RPM for a needlepoint cutter to engrave .001 deep in aluminum.
The unit runs super smooth through full RPM range. Spanner wrenches, collet nut and 1 each: 3/16”, ¼”, & 3/8” type SRP collets included. Cable, cord, & connectors are in great condition.
The current model of this spindle sells for over $4,000.00 new!
May be inspected under power in our shop.
