This listing is for one Premie/Newborn Cloth Diaper Package. It is most appropriate for babies expected to be smaller than average. This package contains enough diapers and covers for the average baby with washing every other day.

Included is everything you need to cloth diaper your baby from birth to 10 pounds.

In this package:

* 2 dozen (24) premie size unbleached (natural off-white cotton color) Indian prefolds (2x6x2 layering, diaper service quality). Indian prefolds are soft, super-absorbent and easy to use. Value $28

* 5 X Small Thirsties diaper covers in your choice of a boy, girl or gender neutral color palette (actual colors will vary although you may request your preferred colors). These top-rated diaper covers fit from about 6-12 pounds. They fasten with hook and loop (Velcro-like) tabs and are machine washable and dryable. $47 value

* 2 Snappi brand diaper fasteners in coordinating colors. These unique fasteners are a fast way to safely secure diapers without pins. Value $5

A typical 6 pound newborn will need about 10 diapers a day and will wear this size for about 2 months. That is over 600 disposable diapers at an average cost of $162 - not counting sales tax or gas to run out and buy diapers every week. Best of all, you can use the same diapers to diaper a second child for free.

Ours is a no smoking home. We do have a cat. She almost never smokes.

A: I just listed an infant size package for you. The infant prefolds do cost more than the premie size, so the price is a little higher, but still an excellent value. Julie
