About The Mailer

We are offering a prepaid mailer for one roll of Minox processing - C41 color development or hand-processed B&W, depending on your preference - and optical machine prints. Our print size is approximately 4-1/4" x 5", with a wide white border around a roughly wallet-sized image area. Please see our sample print below for a color sample.

About Our Processing

At Blue Moon Camera & Machine, we print all of your images optically – that is to say, our printing machines actually use lenses to project light through your negative onto photographic paper. We are one of the last remaining film labs to print this way. It takes a little more work, but we feel that an optical print yields a subtle and luminous quality that one simply cannot achieve with a digital print.

By the time your print is finished, it has passed through our hands at least two or three times during the process of color correction, quality control, and spotting. We are all working photographers with a passion for what we do, and we treat your film as if it were ours.

We regularly handle film in most formats and sizes, from disc film and subminiature to some large format, from black and white to cross-processed slide film. Give our services a try - we're sure you’ll be pleased with the results.
