This pressure switch a generic pressure switch for Hayward Heater. 

This pressure switch will also replace part #CZXPRS1105, Which is the pressure switch in the H100 Hayward Electronic heater. Part number CZXPRS1102 list for $100.00.

The generic is built as good, as the factory switch. Pool Choice reccomends using Teflon Tape and silicone on the H100 (even when using factory parts), as the pipe thread area is very thin.

If you want to fire up right away, us Pool Choice's Flexible Sealer, as it is the best on any threads.

Do not use teflon tape or sealer on a brass bushing adapter, which is found in other Hayward Heaters.

The pressure switch is the leading cause of heater failure. If your heater won't fire whenit needs heat (and the pilot is lit), do 2 steps to see if the pressure switch is defective.

  1. Clean filter, if sand,backwash filter. If cartridge, pull element out of tank and run filter without element. If DE filter, take tank apart and clean.
  2. Place jumper wire across Pressure switch, with the pump running.

If the heater fires up. replace pressure switch. Do not leave jumper wire on the heater.

This pressure switch is for gas heaters, Millivolt or Electronic.

The Hayward Electric spa heaters require an electronic (25 amp) pressure switch.

Hayward has the same part number (CZXPRS1105) on both switches in their parts breakdown manual.
