The 3029 (3925 with a 1/8"NPT)  is a pressure switch.

This pressure switch is for the Electronic heaters and most spas. If your pool heater does not have a pilot light, it is a electronic heater. This pressure switch has 1/8" NPT.

The pressure switch is the leading cause of heater failure. If your heater won't fire whenit needs heat (and the pilot is lit), do 2 steps to see if the pressure switch is defective.

  1. Clean filter, if sand,backwash filter. If cartridge, pull element out of tank and run filter without element. If DE filter, take tank apart and clean.
  2. Place jumper wire across Pressure switch, with the pump running.

If the heater fires up. replace pressure switch. Do not leave jumper wire on the heater.

Replaces:The pressure switch does not come with adapters, but most heaters have the adapters on the pressure switch. This switch has a 1/8" NPT fitting. if your heater has a barbed fitting, Pool Choice reccommends using the universal pressure switch w(which comes with all adapters.)

The Pressure switch has a label 4010P (K50F 3508).

This is the same as as the 3029 Pressure Switch, except for having non-corosive plastic threads.
