Up for your consideration today is this set of four Primitive Patchwork Calico Hearts! These little hearts would be adorable displayed in a favorite wooden bowl or basket. Tuck them inside a treasured old cupboard or atop a primitive shelf or anywhere in your home that needs a little touch of primitive charm.



The Primitive Patchwork Hearts were created from my own pattern that is available for purchase in my store. Each patchwork heart was machine sewn from sraps of two calicos (they are backed with wonderful burgandy and cream homespun) and were stuffed with polyester fiberfill. For fun, a button was handstitched to the center of each heart with heavy black thread. The Primitive Hearts were grubbied with my coffee/cinnamon staining recipe and baked dry in the oven.



Each Primitive Patchwork Calico Heart measures about 5 inches high and about 4 1/2 inches wide.

All of my primitives are handmade by me in a smoke-free home. Sorry my primitive dough bowl and fixin's are not included.
