These are primitive. Heavy cement buttons. I have no idea what these were used for but they have to be really really old. Hand made is certain. There is a piece of original material attached that appears to be cotton. They are approximately 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" in size and they are about 2 lbs together in weight.
Please check my other listings. I have been collecting buttons for over 35 years. I never investigated what type of buttons they were, I just enjoyed finding the treasure of each. I have been to estate sales, garage sales, auctions, antique shops near and far away and even much from e-bay. Selling my buttons may be an ongoing 2nd job for me.
