     I made this adorable make-do/pin keep with a heart that I made from a very old cutter quilt and attached it to an old textile mill bobbin.  Then I tied a sprig of spring flowers with a strip of stained muslin to the front.  I then poked a valentine in with the flowers.  The Valentine is a magnet that I created using a vintage postcard graphic, printed on brown kraft paper and then laminated with a magnetic back.  It stands approximately 10" tall by about 6" wide.

   This would be an adorable, romantic piece displayed on a shelf, in a window, or on a dresser top!
