This Enlightened Art Nightlight is brand NEW in box and was inspired by Amy Brown. Each Enlightened Art Nightlight is 4x5 inches in size. These colored nightlights are translucent and are hand crafted in fine porcelain. They are called "Enlightened Art". The image is directly fired onto the porcelain. The entire unit is one piece, the porcelain is not removeable. The white border is about 3/4 of an inch all the way around and is detailed like a matted picture. Each corner has an intricate, raised design. These are made by hand applying vibrant ceramic underglaze colors, then they are kiln-fired onto a bright white porcelain frame. They shine beautifully when illuminated, but also look great when not lit. They have the appearance of a frame around the image. The center of the frame is very thin to allow the light to brightly illuminate the art, while the border is sculpted like a picture frame, but with substantial thickness (about 1/4 inch) to give this piece much more strength and durability. These are very beautiful and would make a great quality gift for anyone!
