For auction is a NEW Prince Triple Threat Air Rip 1400pl Super Oversize tennis racket in mint condition. This was Prince's most powerful racquet frame. Bumperguard, sides and paint in new, unused condition. See pictures. Overall in mint condition. Plastic on grip with vibration dampener. 4 1/4" gripsize.
Features- If they ranked racquets according to value, the Prince Triple Threat Air Rip would rate near or at the top. It features Prince's full line of technologies: Triple Threat construction- Triple braid of woven titanium, tungsten and carbon placed in three locations- 10, 2 o'clock and the bottom of handle. This creates a larger sweetspot and maximum stability for perfect power and control. Sweetspot Expansion System- String support system, designed to dampen vibration and increase sweet spot size providing larger grommets typically at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock. These larger grommets allow the strings better movement upon impact, thus providing greater forgiveness on off-center hits. Air Beam construction- The fusing of an aerodynamic widebody head with aerodynamic shaft for greater resistance to twisting and a more solid feel. Longbody Technology- A term meaning any Prince racquet longer than the standard 27 inch length. Stretch racquets provide more power (leverage), extend reach, and provide better angles when serving. GraphiteExtreme- Premium grade graphite/carbon composition designed to increase stiffness and power, while maintaining light weight.Its light weight, oversize head and 1/2" inch of extended length make it a natural choice for serve and volley players and doubles specialists, while the open 16x19 string pattern is ideal for topspin and slice shots.
