This is a Swiss watch made circa 1910

The watch has clear assay marks for 18K gold

The watch is in good working order and keeps time to within a few minutes a day. However the watch has not been cleaned and serviced and so is sold “as is”

Movement – the high quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and 17 Jewels. It is signed “Grand Prix, Paris, 1900” and is in 95% mint condition – very clean

Case – the movement comes in a solid 18K gold open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel

The case has crisp coin edged sides and the front and back bezels are decorated with two white enamel borders with gold trim.

The back cover is decorated with a sublime blue / grey guilloche enamel – that is an engraved case and then enamel applied and the engraving comes through the enamel in a three dimensional effect

The case also has an original 18K gold fancy bow.

The case is in perfect, crisp mint condition

Dial – the gold coloured dial has little silvered circles for each individual number. The dial is decorated with fine engraving and is signed “J C Vickery London” and is in 99% mint condition – again very clean

The watch measures 26mm wide x 8mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set

The watch has a mineral glass
