Microdermabrasion is a skin polishing technique used in the finest spas and dermatologists' offices. It works by using specially treated aluminum oxide crystals to "sand" away the top layers of the skin. By stripping away the dead and dull layers of your skin, a smoother, more even toned skin is revealed - giving you skin with a healthy glow and clean, smaller pores!

Microdermabrasion treatments can be very expensive. They average around $100-$200 per treatment and several treatments are needed to see optimal results.

It has been proven that manual application of the same crystals offers the same results and benefits that the mechanically applied crystals do! Microdermabrasion should be a part of every woman's weekly beauty treatment.

Now you can perform your own microdermabrasion at home. You can make your own microderm-cream or lotion that is similar to those on the market or used in day spas. Just mix the crystals with your favorite cream or cleanser and use in the privacy of your own home. The method of application is easy. Just clean and pat dry your face. Mix a small amount of crystals with your preferred oil, cream, or cleanser. Then   massage a small dab into your skin for 2-3 minutes.  Rinse off the crystal residue and debris with warm water and you will see a new layer of glowing, healthy skin!  Caution: Be gentle!  hard, vigorous rubbing can damage the live skin layer and cause excessive irritation.  You will find that your moisturizer will now work better and your foundation will go on and look like silk!

Directions:  Start off will a 3:1 ratio.  This means about 3 teaspoons of lotion or cream to 1 teaspoon of crystals. You can adjust the crystals depending on the sensitivity of your skin.
