The PROTEUS is a revolutionary Light and Sound "Mind Machine" that combines innovative BiColor stimulation technology with a powerful set of additional features, for an unbeatable price.

The Proteus includes the following features:

  • The Proteus Mind Machine includes Real-time BiColor output.  Proteus controls two color output channels in real time!  This means that relaxation frequencies can be set to soothing green, while energizing frequencies are the appropriate red.  We deliver the system with super bright “emerald green” and “ruby red” LEDs, and ruby/sapphire LiteFrames are available as an option.   Using these colors together allows for more than 200 color combinations; from pure emerald green to sapphire red.
  • The Proteus Light & Sound Mind Machine is totally programmable.  A simple yet powerful Windows 98+ hosted programming tool is available for download from our site or the manufacturer:

  • The Proteus Light & Sound Mind Machine is totally upgradeable.  Proteus uses advanced Flash memory for both session and operating system data.  This means that you can download not only new session groups but that the entire operating system can be upgraded.  Recent proteus upgrades have included such advanced features as wavetable crossfading; dual binaural beats; BioConnect real-time biofeedback control (when used with the ThoughtStream), and more. 
  • The Proteus Light & Sound Mind Machine includes wavetable audio.  Proteus includes stereo audio digital to analog converters, enabling production of binaural beats and other waveforms.  You can store up to four different waveforms in Proteus.  An audio waveform creation tool is bundled with the session editor software.
  • Enhanced AudioStrobe support.  The Proteus includes fine-tuned AudioStrobe decoder circuitry, providing a much crisper, more intense experience.
  • The Proteus Light & Sound Mind Machine includes a 100 program capacity.  Proteus ships with enhanced versions of the original Orion sessions, together with a mix of the "best" programs from other systems.  A total of fifty programs are preloaded into Proteus when you receive it.  Includes 2 banks of 100 programs for a total capacity of 200.
