Howie's portrait 'Madonna Smoking' is featured in the British art Book "Madonna in Art" by Mem Mehmet. One of Howie's album cover paintings won First Prize in Absolut Vodka's 25th Anniversary art competition in Boson, MA

3 of Howie's painted life-sized cows were featured in the Boston Cow Parade. Howie has completed a large art installation and 2 murals in the Mellow Mushroom on Fleming Island, Jacksonville, Florida as well as a life size painted school bus at the Mellow Mushroom on Jacksonville Beach. Howie has also painted an entertainment-themed mural and painting installation in Mellow Mushroom in Delray Beach, FL as well as a series of Pop Art murals at the Dimock Center in Boston, MA.
