QUALITY ANTIQUE MICROMOSAIC PANEL PANTHEON c1840 N/R  

A super quality antique micromosaic panel in a black glass frame, beautifully finely hand crafted to depict the Pantheon, Rome.

Wonderful quality, beautiful and fabulously collectable - also perfect for mounting in jewelry!

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slightest signs of wear, panel cracked and repaired and some tesserae have been replaced - see pics.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1840, possibly a little older. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 35 x 28 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 9.1 grams.
