DESCRIPTION- A CHARMING ANTIQUE PAINTING RECENTLY DISCOVERED IN SURREY. WE HAVE REMOVED THIS ONE FROM A DELAPIDATED FRAME. THE CONDITION OF THIS PIECE IS GENERALLY GOOD FOR ITS AGE WITH NICE BRIGHT COLOURS AND ONLY SOME SLIGHT FOXING SPOTS. THERE ARE SOME OLD WOODWORM HOLES TO THE MOUNT-THESE HOWEVER HAVE NOT AFFECTED THE PAINTING IN ANY WAY AND ARE NOT EVIDENT FROM THE FRONT OF THE MOUNT. ARTHUR ASPINALL IS A WELL COLLECTED SOUTH OF ENGLAND ARTIST WHO'S PAINTINGS CAN COMMAND HIGH PRICES AT AUCTION. HIS WORK RATHER REMINDS US OF THE COLOURFUL PAINTINGS OF JAN VAN COUVER. UNFRAMED.
