It has been printed using the original plates and equipment, and the graphics and soft sepia colors are so nostalgic! Picture shows natural life duing the time. I buy them in at antique market in Canton, Southern China. Undivided backs Size 5.5 x 4 inches. Some have blenished on the back because of age, but the front is fine. This postcard shows Qing-Dynasty Chinese girls wearing the tiny 4 1/2 inch Lotas Slippers. For almost 1,000 years, up until only 60-years ago, many Chinese girls as young as 7 suffered the agony of having their feet bound. So they would have tiny feet to please their future husbands. Not only was the submissiveness a sexual turn on, but some said bound feet tightened the folds of the vagina!
