Quality 1950's Rawlings pre facemask football helment

Here is a nice high quality 1950's era Rawlings adult size 6 7/8 - 7 hard plastic football helmet with leather lining on the interior. It is a Rawlings Head Cushion model HC 15 helmet. The helmet is the type that is pre facemask, so I'm dating it to the 1950's based on that. It is a suspension style helmet. The chin strap is missing. The leather on the interior shows wear. A name has been written on the inside straps in two places - Al Leonetti. The helmet appears to originally been a dark blue in color that was painted black years ago. The paint shows wear. There are no crack in the helmet. Kinda neat in that the top of the helmet kinda comes to a small point (not completely round). Sorry about a few of the pictures that didn't come out quite right, my camera is not cooperating at times for me right now.
