We are Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisors and our clientele consists mainly of eBay/E-commerce sellers who are located around the US, Canada and the UK.

While some eBay sellers start out from the beginning as a "business," we understand that many successful eBay businesses started out from someone just selling items from around their home. Many of our eBay clients "fell" into being in business and realized as tax time grew near that they needed to report their income and expenses to the government. Most eBay sellers do not know where to start with their accounting so that is where we have stepped in to fill those gaps.

We have developed Quickbooks Data File templates that are specially created with the eBay seller in mind. We offer customization addons to many of our products that will further help you with your accounting setup. We also offer large Bookkeeping/Consulting Packages for those sellers who want an all-in-one package.

Allegro Accounting, Inc. has helped hundreds of eBay/e-commerce sellers all over the country with their accounting and bookkeeping needs. This listing is for a blank Quickbooks Data File that is setup for use by an eBay/E-Commerce seller. The Chart of Accounts is setup in the file as well as a few memorized sales receipts for use in entering sales and a vendor bill for use in paying consignment customers.

If you only sell on eBay or sell on a venue we have not included, you can easily change the account names or hide/delete the ones you do not need to use.

This product is essential if you want to use eBay's Accounting Assistant program or the PayPal Import feature (what we recommend)! You must have your Quickbooks data file setup correctly before you attempt to download your sales data from eBay or PayPal into Quickbooks!

We offer our Quickbooks Data File in the following Quickbooks versions:

Our Quickbooks Datafile will only work with the US version of Quickbooks. If you have any other version (UK, Canada, etc), our file will not be compatible with your software.

It does not matter which level of Quickbooks you have (Simple Start, Pro, Premier, etc). Our files will work for all levels Basic/Simple Start through Premier. It is also compatible with Quickbooks for Mac - we just need to know which version (2006, 2007, etc) you have. See our FAQ's below for more information about which version we recommend.

After you have purchased the Quickbooks Data File of your choice, email (info@web-bookkeeper.com) us to let us know which version (2007, 2008, etc) that you have. Please email us and don't rely on the Note to Seller section of your PayPal payment - sometimes those notes do not flow thru.

NOTE: this product does not include the Quickbooks software - this is just a data file that is used within the software. You must have the appropriate Quickbooks software installed in order to use this product!

The turn-around is usually much quicker than that but sometimes we get very busy with our eBay clients!

Chart of Accounts Explained E-Book: This is a must-have! Written as a result of multiple requests from our past customers! This is a 17-page E-Book that explains and defines all of the accounts that are set up in the Chart of Accounts in our Quickbooks DataFile for eBay. We also include examples for many of them of when you would use them. This product will help answer many of your questions!

Frequently Asked Questions about this product:

Does this product include instructions on how to use it with Quickbooks, the eBay Accounting Assistant and/or the PayPal Import?

No. All of our products are ala carte with the except of our Complete Setup Packages. If you need help learning how to use Quickbooks and/or the PayPal Import for your eBay biz, we recommend you purchase on of our Packages instead of this product or some Prepaid Consulting Time with us in addition to this product.

Which Quickbooks version do you recommend for an eBay Seller?

Although every eBay business is slightly different, we usually recommend the Pro version. The Premier is generally over-kill and the Simple Start version is not adequate. Also, the PayPal Import cannot be used with Simple Start.
