This is an ORIGINAL FIRST print poster (approx. 14" x 20", and printed prior to the shows) that was used to promote a pair of shows featuring the Quicksilver Messenger Service, John Hammond & His Screaming Nighthawks & Charles Lloyd.  These shows took place April 21 & 22, 1967 at the historic Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. This very popular psychelic image, "POT", was designed by the late Rick Griffin, and is referred to as FD 58 in the Family Dog series. This beautiful poster has been very carefully preserved for over forty years, and is in EXCELLENT condition...NM (no flaws, bright colors), and would frame beautifully. This is guaranteed to be an ORIGINAL Family Dog poster, and we will issue a COA upon request. Shipping is $8 (U.S.).
