This quilt is probably from the 30s or 40s and could be feedsacking fabric and muslin. Overall colors are red, white and blue. I purchased this quilt at a south central Pa with the intention of cutting it down to a lap size and using applique to cover the stains. I have done this before with other old quilts and have been well satisfied with the results, but there is a lot of work to it and many hours. I have also used cutters like this to cover pillows or to make shower curtains. I am trying to clean out my quilt cutters. So this one is going. Measure approx 82 inch X 60 inches. Blocks were handsewn and there was some machine stitching when top was attached to backing. At least 8 blocks have fabric damage, tears etc, they are located in the outer strips ( you can salvage the inner area). There are stains also, front and back.
