Quisp Spaceman Here’s an original vintage Quisp Cereal Spaceman advertising coin bank. He’s a 1960’s mail away premium from Quaker Oats Crunchy Corn cereal. Quisp is made out of composition/papier-mâché material. He’s a little over 6 ¾ inches tall by 4 inches at the widest part by 3 inches deep. The coin slot is at the top backside of his head. At the very bottom underside of his feet is his original black rubber coin stopper and ‘TAIWAN’ is stamped there too. Quisp has all of his factory original brilliant bright shinny colors. There is only one thing wrong with Quisp and that’s a small chip at the upper right prop outer edge. (There are two close-up pictures of this here). I’ve had this Quisp coin bank for many, many years and this chip was there when I first found him. Other than the small chip, this vintage original Quisp cereal Spaceman coin bank is in near mint condition! Along with this very rare and almost impossible to find Quisp premium coin bank is this plastic display case. The case is real clean with no cracks or scratches. I’ve had this Quisp Spaceman inside this display case for a long time and the display case will go with Quisp to the lucky winner/buyer. I’m selling this original vintage 1960’s mail away premium Quisp Cereal Spaceman coin bank & display case ‘as is’. I fill I have described, along with all these pictures, this premium mail away Quisp Spaceman coin bank well. But if you see something or have any questions, don’t hesitate and send me a question by clicking on ‘ask seller a question’ at the upper right corner under ‘Seller info’. I will respond to your questions as fast as I can. This will be packed very well, in a sturdy box with lots of bubble wrap and lots of packing peanuts. International bidders: Import duties, taxes and fees charges are ‘not included’ in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. If the postal service of your country charges an additional collection fee, ‘please’ check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. If these charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – ‘please’ do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. If you are not at home to receive the parcel, you are also responsible for that too. (This also goes for USA buyers too).To avoid misunderstanding, I declare the exact purchase price as the value of the goods when completing the customs declaration. I will neither check the ‘gift’ box, the ‘sample’ box nor under declare the value. Note: TOYS CANNOT BE SHIPPED TO ITALY because of Italian Custom Regulations. Note: No Tracking on First Class International Shipments. If you want tracking you will need to upgrade to Priority Mail. All eBay buyers; I want you to know that once I hand the package to the shipper, (USPS, UPS, ect.), I really don’t have any control of the package after I hand the package to the shipper. I am only going by what the shipper says for the amount of days they say it will take for them to deliver the package to you. eBay is saying to all sellers “Keep in mind that you, (the seller), are responsible for your item until it arrives safely in the buyer’s hands”. (This is an actual quote from eBay. I did not make this up). So in doing so I am handing the package to the shipper, (USPS, UPS, ect.), and the shipper, (USPS, UPS, ect.), is taking on the responsibility, (for me the seller), to deliver the package to you, (the buyer). I have, and will always do, get your package-item shipped the day you, (the buyer), make payment. Or if the payment is made after 4 pm, (my time CT, I am 1 hour behind East Cost Time), I will ship-mail your package-item the next day-morning. Package-items paid for on Saturday before 11 am, (my time CT), I will mail the package-item that Saturday morning. Any payment after 11 am, (my time CT), on Saturday will be mailed-shipped first thing Monday morning. Also, bare in mind, any holidays that land on the week ends or during the week. It will take until the end of that holiday, (the day after), to mail-ship your package-item to you and any packages, in the mail during a holiday, will take the extra day(s), after the holiday, to be delivered too. Starting October 1, 2009, the option to have insurance or not for your package-item will not be available on the auction page listing. Here are the shipping insurance prices; ($0.01-$50.00=$1.75) ($50.01-$100.00=$2.25) ($100.01-$200.00=$2.75) ($200.01-$300.00=$4.70) ($300.01-$400.00=$5.70) These prices are to be added, (if you would like insurance on this package), to the shipping cost you see here for this item. The shipping costs are automatically added for your zip code from my zip code. I have, and will always do, everything I can to make the shipping package as light in weight as possible. This in doing so will help lower the shipping cost to you the buyer. I only add $0.45 cents to the ‘Shipping and Handling charges’. This $0.45 cents helps pay for part of the total S/H costs to me, (shipping boxes, packing peanuts, bubble wrap, tape and plastic bags). If you have ‘any’ questions, fill free to e-mail me by clicking on ‘Ask a question’ in the ‘Seller Info’ box at the upper right side of the auction page-listing. I will answer your question(s) as soon as I can. Buyers/Winners: I appreciate your business! If you are satisfied with my service, please rate the details of the transaction (Detailed Seller Ratings) on eBay with a ‘PERFECT 5 STARS’ and leave me positive feedback. I ‘will’ do the same for you. If you have any questions, please contact me through eBay first. Simply leaving negative or neutral feedback can't solve the problem. With all of the recent changes on eBay, I feel it’s important to keep buyers up to date. In regards to the ‘DSR’ section of feedback, the only rating which helps a seller is a ‘5 STARS’ rating. The wording used for a four star rating seems reasonable but it does not help a seller. If you love buying and collecting the neat and unusual vintage items you can only find here on eBay, then help your favorite sellers out and go with ‘5 STARS’. Probably the most misunderstood section is the shipping time section. The rating is meant to reflect how fast a seller ships the item. If you pay for an item and the seller ships the item out quickly. Please do not hold it against the seller if you choose ‘Parcel Post’ or ‘Media’ and the post office takes longer to get your item to you. In that instance, the seller has done everything within their power for you. |
