| Presenting... a Quisp AND a Quake doll. The Quisp is hard enough to find, but the Quake is very rare. Quisp and Quake were rival cereal brands created by the Quaker Oats Company in 1965. Each cereal featured an animated character, an alien (Quisp) and a miner (Quake). Both cereals pretty much tasted the same as Cap'n Crunch. In 1970, a contest was held to see which cereal was more popular, and two years later, Quake was no more. Quisp was discontinued in the late 1970s, but re-introduced in limited distribution in the 1990s. Both dolls are in very good condition, although not perfect. The overall colors for each doll are good, the Quisp has a few very small stains, while the Quake has what appears to be a few pinholes on the head. There are no rips or tears on either toy. While ideally I'd like to sell them as a pair, I would entertain offers for either doll. |
