| This
is a BIG R.H. Ingersoll and Brothers, New York, New York TRIUMPH
pocket watch. This watch is a rare piece of dollar watch history.
New Haven Clock Company made this watch for Ingersoll in the late
1890s. This watch does not currently run. I don’t know what’s
wrong with it; I am not a watch repairperson. The dial is in good
shape for its age. The case shows some wear. There are no dings
or dents in the front of the case, but the back cover has 2 or 3
major dings in it. Please see photos. The watch measures 2-1/2”
round and 1” thick. This is a rare dollar watch.
I am currently putting up my whole collection of these types
of Pocket Watches. I have over 400 of them. Please
Click This Link to view them, and check back as I will be putting
more up in the future. I am not a watch repairperson. These are
watches my family and I have purchased over the past 30 years for
collecting. Thanks for looking.
