You're bidding on a beautiful and quite rare piece of genuine signed R. Lalique frosted crystal art glass in the form of a low fish bowl/centerpiece. This wonderfully executed piece of Lalique art glass is from the Art Nouveau period dating to c1930.

After extensive research I was unable to find another exactly like this one, making it very rare and highly collectible. The design features two fish running along almost the full length on both sides of the bowl. The fish are done in typical Lalique detail, complete with scales, gills, fins and open mouths. In addition there is elegant scrolling at both ends of the piece.

The bowl is approximately 2 1/4" deep with no sign of scratching. It is signed on the bottom "R. Lalique" in etched script. The large flat base is basically scratch-free but for two very light scratch lines at one end that are barely discernible. Normally one would find heavy scratching on a piece like this from the Art Nouveau period. It is in what I would consider pristine condition and measures a full 8 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide. The piece stands 2 3/4" high to the top of the fish fins. It weighs a heavy 2 pounds 15 ounces. 

What an extraordinary example of genuine signed R. Lalique French frosted art glass from the Art Nouveau period given its age of almost 80 years old!
