Description
An evil alien empire is planning to take over the Earth, and you are the only person who can save the planet. Jump into your R-Type fighter and destroy the invading aliens in R-TYPE DX. The cartridge contains the original arcade hits R-TYPE and R-TYPE II, both of which can be played in a Black-and-White or Color mode. The final option is R-TYPE DX, which is the first two games, played back-to-back. No matter what version you play, the action involves shooting the aliens out of the sky with your fighter. Luckily, there are a huge number of power-ups scattered throughout the various levels, including fire chains and bubble beams. As an added bonus, the music from the arcade game has been recreated on the Game Boy Color. Blast the aliens back to their home world in R-TYPE DX.
