ABOUT THIS RA MOTOR
Compatible with the zzDirect Telescope:
We found a great right ascension motor that was almost compatible with the telescopes we sell. We had to make a minor design change to our Equatorial Mounts so that they would work with this motor. That change was implemented, and now this great motor is compatible with both the 6" and 4.5" telescope sold by zzDirect.
Free Batteries:
The motor drive is battery controlled, so no need to run an extension cord to your house or car. Two 9 volt batteries are included, free, with your purchase.
Variable Speed & Variable Directional:
This motor drive has a variable speed control so you can speed up or slow down the right ascension tracking speed. Also, there is a North/South switch so you can use the motor either in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, depending on where you live.
Online Photo Assembly Guide:
We have an online assembly guide to help you attach your motor drive to your telescope mount. You'll need a screwdriver and about 5 minutes of time, it's a snap.
